PEOPLE’S INTERGRATED FOR DEVELOPMENT (PID)

PID is a Community-Based Organization founded in 2018, operating in the Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement in Kamwenge District, Uganda. With a focus on orphans, widows, women, children, and the youth, PID's mission is to empower these special interest groups towards improved and sustainable livelihoods. Through vocational training, psychosocial support, rights awareness, and environmental initiatives, among others, PID aims to bring about socio-economic development, holding core values of love, care, compassion, and philanthropy. Their activities span education, agriculture, gender-based violence prevention, and public health initiatives.
